PSP Go!Sony finally revealed the official details of the PSP Go!

Pricing and launch date:

  • US – $249 – 1st October 2009
  • Europe – Euro 249 – 1st October 2009
  • Japan – 26,800 yen – 1st November 2009

Specification:

  • 3.8-inch Display
  • No UMD
  • 16GB Flash memory
  • Available in Piano Black and Pearl White

I think the price is a bit expensive since the current PSP-3000 core pack is currently selling at $170 at Amazon. [PSP 3000 Core Pack – Black]

CAN I ORDER IT FROM MALAYSIA.?MAY I KNOW IT IS SAME SPEC OR DID ANYTHING DIFFERENT? HOW ABOUT DELIVERY DAY?

    • HMMaster says:

      Hi Adi,
Please relax and don’t type in ALL CAPS.

Currently there is no official announcement from Sony Malaysia, so we don’t know when it will be launch in Malaysia. And it also haven’t launch yet, I’m not sure if you can get it from other countries (ie: US or Japan) or not.

The spec is slightly different, please refer to my post. The launch date is also in my post, which is 1st Oct for US/Europe and 1st Nov for Japan.

hmm… I’m not so sure. But PSP Go games should be compatible with the normal PSP.

just wanna tell you one thing, the psp go most likely wont be able to play pirated games.

pls answer…psp 3006 or psp go…choose 4 me to buy it..

    • HMMaster says:

PSP3006 should be a better choice for now. I feel that the PSP is a bit expensive and games wise, the PSP3006 still can play all the PSP games. 🙂

  17. sharmin says:

    Dear HMMaster,
Could you please notify me via email once you get news on when Sony Malaysia is launching its PSP GO? Appreciate it. Thanks.

    • HMMaster says:

Still no news on when they’ll launch the Go in Malaysia… I’m not that sure about India. :/

      • Ravi says:

PSP Go is available in Gray Market in India, Delhi ofcourse and Delhities would be knowing where im heading to when i say gaming gray market of India. Its Around 15k and you won’t be able to get sony warranty over it as its not been officially launched in india yet. But True PSP Go fan won’t think over it twice but issue is regarding the games as we all know it doesn’t support UMDs and all the games need to be purchased from Playstation Network online and that you won’t be able access from an Indian IP address coz PSN has not been launched in India. Well Iam not completely sure about will it able to download games from India but nevertheless if it does each game is gonna hurt ur wallet. So choice is urs …..i’ll update if i get more info

Oops, 😛 sry fr mistakes i made while typin’

        • amar says:

You can get it in india. That much is very true.but how do you run games in it? any information would be really helpful.i guesss the japanese have still not come out with a crak for it.
