System Scheduler

If you want to close a program automatically at a specific time, you can use a scheduler to do it. For this guide, I’ll be using Splinterware’s System Scheduler. The reason why I choose System Scheduler is because it is easy to use/configure.

Windows Defender blocked a startup program in Vista

Program blocked during startup in Vista? Don’t worry! There are solutions for it. One of the easiest way is to disable UAC. But it is not recommended as it is not a good practice to disable UAC. But there is another solution to enable the program to run during startup which is to use Task Scheduler. headcrash industries have a full instruction on how to unblock program that requires administrator privilege during startup.
